Untimely Fires

Untimely Fires is a photographic documentation of the fire disasters that happens in Portugal during dry season, specially near the huge plantations of Eucalyptus trees. It is also an artistic tribute to the tragedy of “Pedrógão Grande”, happend on 2017, the biggest and deadliest fire of Portugal.

The concept approached by this artwork is related to the brevity of life and possible ends we can experience, when nature is used in an inconsequent way.

Technique: Digital photography printed with fine art quality on acrylic and mounted over Aluminium dibond plate.

Format: 150 x 100cm cada.
