Imaginary places is a mixture of culture of the region of Minas Gerais, Brasil and different visual elements that one can see in the local villages and cities.
This digital collage artwork is a mixture of reality and fantasy creating imaginary cities, places and landscapes. Shapes, colours and symbols are used in a ludic sense to create the duality of reality and dream. The series is an utopian view of the artist facing her own reality and constructs a bridge between local culture and imagination.
